Aviators and Lafayette Police Department Team Up For National Night Out

LAFAYETTE, IN – July 9, 2018 – The Lafayette Aviators and the Lafayette Police Department will be hosting "National Night Out" on Monday, July 30 at Loeb Stadium in Columbian Park, as the Aviators take on the Kokomo Jackrabbits at 6:35pm. National Night Out is a community event which focuses on continuously building the partnership between police and the community that unifies us under positive circumstances.

The Lafayette Police Department's National Night Out event will feature a display of vehicles and equipment, supportive vendors, safety demonstrations, interactive participation on the field, and so much more. Among those scheduled to participate in National Night Out at Loeb Stadium are the LPD Bike Patrol, K9 Team, SWAT, DARE and a 911 Simulator.

Communities nationwide will be coming together for the “35th Annual National Night Out” crime and drug prevention event. National Night Out will involve over 16,500 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canada, and military bases worldwide. In all, over 38.5 million people are expected to participate in ‘America’s Night Out Against crime.’

National Night Out will start with doors at 5:35pm and end at approximately 9:30pm with the conclusion of the Lafayette Aviators game. A ticket is required for entry inside the stadium and can be purchased at a discounted rate for the event of just $6 for a Dugout Reserved ticket or $8 for a Home Plate Reserved ticket.
