LAFAYETTE, INDIANA – April 22, 2024 – On Thursday, May 30th, when the Aviators take on Danville, we will not only be trying strike out as many Dans as possible, but we will also be partnering with Mental Health America to help “Strike Out Stigma”.
May is Mental Health Awareness month, and as such, the Aviators and Mental Health America are working together to help raise awareness to help empower those needing assistance.
“We are honored to be partnering with Mental Health America on such an important initiative,” said Aviators President & General Manger, David Krakower. “Bringing awareness to anyone who is publicly or privately going through a difficult time is a cause we can all get behind, and the Aviators are proud to be a part of it.”
On May 2, at The Toast to Mental Health Event at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds, look for the MHA Photo Booth where we kick-off the “Strike Out Stigma B4STAGE4” Campaign. Taking wiffle bat to ball and literally knocking stigma out of the park, we present a photo opportunity and chance to have your face on the Jumbotron at Loeb Stadium May 30th! Step up and Strike Out for all to see…who’s not afraid to strike the stigma?
