LAFAYETTE, INDIANA – May 26, 2022 – The Lafayette Aviators, in conjunction with the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette, are expanding their commitment to the Greater Lafayette area with the establishment of the Lafayette Aviators Fund.
The creation of the Lafayette Aviators Fund allows the organization to centralize its philanthropic efforts and maximize impact to the community we are proud to call home. The fund will also allow us to expand fundraising efforts and opportunities beyond game days.
“Grass-roots community outreach has been a mantra of the Aviators organization since our acquisition of the team in April 2018,” stated Aviators Chairman Bill Davidson. “The creation of this charitable avenue allows us to support so many organizations that could use a helping hand. Creating the fund in conjunction with The Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette means we can work with them to help address critical challenges in the area.”

In 2021, the Aviators partnered with several Greater Lafayette non-profit organizations in a variety of ways resulting in raising a collective $25,601. The Aviators have more than 50 fundraising events already scheduled for the upcoming 2022 season.
“The Aviators Fund will allow us to develop many new partnerships with non-profit organizations,” stated Aviators General Manager, David Krakower. “We will also be able to develop programs with our partners to create fundraising opportunities for the organizations they support. It’s truly a win-win!”.
