LAFAYETTE, INDIANA – August 21, 2024 – Aviators outfielder Mikey Scott has been named as one of the Prospect League’s 2024 Eastern Conference All Stars.
Scott had a superb summer in Lafayette, leading the league with 5 triples, while also finishing in the top-10 in the league with 40 RBIs, and finishing second on the team with a .322 batting average.
“Mikey has been an incredible addition to the Aviators family for the past two summers, both on and off the field,” said Aviators General Manager, David Krakower. “His contributions at the plate and in the field, while incredible, pale in comparison to the person Mikey is. He has become a valued member of the community off the field, always going out of his way to make fans smile. So, this accolade is incredibly well deserved and a long time coming for him.”
Scott will continue his collegiate career this spring, as he heads to Florida Southern College for his final year of eligibility.
